Our annual Christmas Concert rehearsals are upon us! Starting on Saturday October 12th, our first rehearsal will take place from 10:00am to 12pm. To kick everything off, we will have breakfast, while welcoming our new members and going over the vision for CFMC. Childcare will also be provided for a small fee. We are actively recruiting new members, so invite your choir family and friends to join! There are no auditions necessary…only a passion for uplifting people through singing the good news.

Rehearsals will be held at:

We are excited for this upcoming season and look forward to seeing everyone there.

Upcoming events

CFMC Singers in Vancouver!

The CFMC Singers have been invited to sing alongside the Passing On Missions (POM) choir in Vancouver, Canada from November 5th through November 11th  for a series of healing and deliverance concerts. POM is a Taiwanese-based missions choir with a world-wide reach. We are honored and privileged to join them in this amazing endeavor to bring the ministry of Christ to this region.

POM has been gracious enough to pay for our food and lodging, however, we are in need of funds to cover airfare. You can help! To donate, please click here. We are also hosting a Pancake Breakfast fundraiser at Applebee’s on Saturday October 12th starting at 8am. When you purchase breakfast, CFMC will receive 60% of the proceeds! It’s a win-win!  We look forward to seeing you there; we love you and appreciate your support.

CFMC Choir Workshop

“As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another” – Proverbs 27:17

On Saturday October 19th, CFMC will have a members-only workshop. Renowned Choir Director and Conductor Vinroy Brown, Jr. will be on hand to teach us vocal techniques and sharpen our musical ears. Vinroy comes with years of choir and music experience, having conducted and directed for the Capital Singers of Trenton, Westminster Choir College, and several other choir groups. We are excited and privileged to learn from him! Our own Director, Gabriel Cordeiro will also be on hand to speak on our spiritual responsibility as a Christ-focused, missions-focused choir. We STRONGLY encourage all members to participate in this workshop. As God is opening major doors for us, it is imperative that we ready ourselves as a group to effectively respond to what God is doing in us and through us for His Kingdom. We look forward to seeing everyone there! A light lunch will be served, so bring your appetite along with your enthusiasm! 🙂

Date: Saturday October 19th
Time: 10am – 2pm
Where: 17 Schoolhouse Rd

What’s been happening – Updates!

Brazil Tour 2019

Having been invited as guest worshipers at IBM Alphaville’s Sunday service last year, the CFMC Singers were blessed to have been invited this year to participate in their annual Target Conference.  This is a 3-day conference where thousands of attendees, locally and from around the world, converge to worship God and participate in various workshops. Our own, Gabriel Cordeiro was invited to do a presentation on American Gospel, and the CFMC Singers participated in various pre-conference and conference programs with a few members of Brazilian gospel group, Vocalis Vocal, accompanying us. It was a blessed time, as God moved mightily among us. As the name of Jesus was lifted, lives were touched, and breakthroughs were received, even amongst our group. By God’s grace, we have already received an invitation to participate in next year’s Target Conference!

From Sao Paulo, we boarded for Rio de Janeiro for a multi-city tour, which included concerts and a choir workshop. Rio Benito was our first stop, and it was an amazing, impactful experience! God’s presence rained down on us that night and broke through emotional barriers. Lives were touched and changed. From there, we headed to Araruama, where we had been invited last year, and put on two uplifting concerts in front of packed crowds, who were eager to hear American gospel, and experience God in a new way.

Our last stop was the city of Niteroi, where we conducted a choir workshop. Over 150 eager registrants packed the house to learn the American Gospel style of music and singing. By the end of it, the registrants were able to put on a presentation of what they just learned! As with last year, we were very impressed with the heart and skill of this group; it was such a blessing! We also want to thank Pastora Marlete and Sarça que Arde for hosting this event with excellence, once again.

Staying in the city of Niteroi, we were joined by Brazilian gospel groups, Coral Vida and Vocalis Vocal for our huge tour-ending concert at the beautiful Niteroi Municipal Theater. We were grateful to God, once again, to worship in front of a packed house, excited to hear the gospel and experience Jesus! As a token of appreciation, we had giveaways for them, provided by our vocal coach, Tatiana, who was gracious enough to provide services to our vocalists for part of the tour. We greatly appreciate her! We also appreciate all the ministers who prayed with and for us while we were there. And last, but not least, we are grateful to all our partners, whose generous donations to our mission make all this possible. As always, we thank you for your prayers and support. If you haven’t already, consider supporting this ministry, as we are impacting lives for God’s kingdom.

Rock Church is buying land!

As many of you know, Rock Church Ministries is very near and dear to our hearts. The bulk of the proceeds from our concerts benefit the Rock Church Academy in Uganda. We have made great strides in meeting the needs of the school, thanks to the generous donations we have received from people like you. One building has already been completed, with another one on the way to being built…we thank God!

Now, God has presented an opportunity that could not be passed up…an opportunity to buy land with fresh running water at a discount! Fresh water is vital to the lives of Ugandans in this region. Many residents walk for miles and miles in search of clean water. We are pleased to announce that the cost for the land has been covered from the proceeds of our Annual Benefit Concert! This is not only a blessing for Rock Church Academy, but for residents in  the surrounding areas. This is also an opportunity for Rock Church Ministries to reach the spiritual needs of the local residents, who will no doubt travel there to benefit from the vital fresh water this land provides.

From Pastor Charles Wambebe of Rock Church Ministries:
“Thank you so much for your labor of love. The Good Lord will surely remember you and other brethren supporting this project in Jesus name.”

We ask you to please continue to pray for Rock Church Academy and for CFMC, as we continue to support and enrich the lives of these precious young school children in need. And as always, we thank you for your monetary support. If you would like to donate, click here.
